Talkeena inn was a great place to stay in town. Right near the ranger station and all the action in town. Short walk to the train depot and Airport. Rooms were quite comfortable and Just a short walk to watch the river and plenty of moose activity. The bar on site is great and a hit with the locals. Craig, Melissa, and Billy took great care of us. We were lucky to have found such a great place while flying a small plane across Alaska. I will be coming back !!

We travelled from Anchorage to stay for the weekend. We loved the Talkeetna inn! It was perfect: friendly and helpful hospitality, clean and comfy room, and the lawn was awesome to catch the midnight sun with our two little ones. It’s at a cool location, just a few minutes walk to the riverbank with exceptional views of Denali and also a few minutes from the main road in Talkeetna. The breakfast was tasty and the portions very generous. Highly recommend!

From a person who lives in Anchorage, but also has traveled around AK, I can confidently say, this is the best place to stay in Talkeetna. We’re a family of 4 and enjoyed the Talkeetna Inn immensely: from the friendly hospitality, the grassy green lawn and walk to the riverbank to the yummy breakfast, we had a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

A great alaskan rustic cabin feel, very comfortable and clean rooms. The hospitality and the welcome you feel here is superb. We stayed for 2 nights, the first night we arrived later then expected at 1145 pm and they accommodated us and had someone there to greet us and make sure we were settled. The owner and staff are very hospitable and welcome you! You are close to the river and the main strip in talkeetnea. On the premises are a cocktail lounge, bonfire pit, picnic areas, additional outdoor seating, breakfast in the a.m. We enjoyed our stay and will be only staying here when we come back to talkeetna.

The Talkeetna Inn is a must stay while visiting. Our group had a great experience while here. Good hospitality; nice clean rooms, comfy beds, hot shower, the lounge area gives the rustic AK feel and the drinks are cold :-). The Inn is walking distance to the main road and is along the river with a fantastic view of Mt. McKinley.
